B3 Bookclub
I started B3 Bookclub almost 2 year ago with a group of friends. This was a new way for us to fellowship, hold each other accountable for reading, and create a space to have difficult conversations. For the first year everyone in bookclub was hesitant to add new members but as we started to grow relationships started to form, flourish, and now we’re always excited and looking forward to adding new members and building new connections.
B3 Bookclub stands for ‘Black & Brown Bibliophiles.’ It’s a virtual bookclub that’s a safe space to celebrate Black and Brown authors, build community, fellowship and share lived experiences through storytelling. Our goal for this bookclub is to build and support our community by empowering, educating, and encouraging our Black and Brown community to read, write, and verbalize vulnerability.
